  • Initial Oral Examination

Your initial oral examination includes a comprehensive exam, screening for oral cancer and TMJ, charting, periodontal probing, prophylaxis (cleaning) and radiographs. You will find Dr. Woodall to be very thorough, with intention of addressing any problem or concern in the very early stages, hopefully resulting in avoidance of pain or discomfort for the patient, as well as less expense. After studying your radiographs and exam notes Dr. Woodall will design a treatment plan for you, if needed. He may ask you to return for a consultation, which is a no-charge visit, during which he can explain any treatment recommendations, the number and length of visits involved, and the anticipated out-of-pocket expense. This allows you to ask any questions about your treatment, and make an informed decision on how you wish to proceed.

    Crowns and Veneers

You can have a new smile with all-porcelain crowns (empressed material) or porcelain veneers. We also offer porcelain fused to metal or full gold crowns. Dr. Woodall will be happy to discuss the best option with you./p>

    Fillings

Composites, tooth-colored fillings, are light cured to match your teeth for best estethic and functional results. Air abrasion is an excellent option for restoring teeth with early stages of decay, and offer a "no-drill" option to conventional restorations.

    Root Canals

We perform root canals on anterior, premolar and molar teeth. In some situations, Dr. Woodall may refer you to an endodontist (rooth canal therapy specialist) for endodontic treatment..

    Periodontal Treatment

You should have a standard cleaning at least twice a year. A periodontal treatment includes an Adult Prophy (basic cleaning). If it has been over a year since your last cleaning, possible treatment will include either Periodontal Scaling (deeper) or Root Planning and Scaling (requires anesthetic).

    Mouth Guards and Night Guards

Whether you are an athlete or casual sports participant, you should wear a mouth guard to protect your teeth. If you grind your teeth while you sleep, a bite guard may help reduce symptoms of TMJ.

    Removable Dental Prosthesis

For missing teeth, we can make dentures or removable partials for you. Implants may offer a solution for additional stability.

    Invisalign

As an Invisalign Certified Dentist, Dr. Woodall can evaluate the possibility of improving your smile with this clear, removable and comfortable alternative to standard band and bracket braces. Schedule an appointment to see if you are a good candidate for Invisalign!
